As a member of Broadcom Software Group\xe2\x80\x99s Symantec Enterprise Division, you will be a part of a recently formed security specialist sales team. Partnering with the Core sales team, this position is responsible for driving new sales of Symantec\xe2\x80\x99s cybersecurity solutions into a defined set of existing large enterprise customers. We\xe2\x80\x99re looking for experienced Account Directors with cybersecurity domain expertise who want to make a formative impact in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

In addition to driving new sales, you will develop trusted relationships at the executive level, focusing on the strategic nature of the partnership. This means that you have a deep understanding of our product suites and are able to help identify new opportunities.

Responsibilities


  • Apply your knowledge of the cybersecurity industry, market and competitive landscape, technology, product, and processes to educate prospective and current customers on the business value of Symantec\xe2\x80\x99s security offering.
  • Scope, negotiate, and close enterprise contracts to exceed all bookings and revenue targets.
  • Establish access and create positive business relationships with key executives and senior-level decision makers including the CISO, Head of Network Security, CIO, CTO, etc.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with key internal stakeholders (Core Sales Team, Sales Engineering, Sales Operations, Product Management & Marketing) to drive product adoption in target accounts.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date account and territory plans.
  • Regular forecasting of business opportunities to Sales and executive leadership.
  • Responsible for staying well-informed about product roadmap as well as understanding the scenarios, features, and functions within each of the products and how these are applied to address business and technical problems. This includes interacting with Product Management on an ongoing basis to stay updated.
  • Coordinate requirements for proofs of concept (PoCs) with Sales Engineers and Product Management.


Qualifications

  • 10+ years of sales experience with at least 5 years selling enterprise security solutions in the following areas is preferred: Cloud Security, Secure Access Service Edge (SASE), Zero Trust (ZTNA), Data Loss Prevention (DLP), Endpoint Security (EDR), Advanced Threat solutions, Cloud Access Security (CASB)
  • Exceeding sales quota as a Large Enterprise Account Manager focused on a defined set of F1000 accounts.
  • You can effectively articulate and present well in front of technical and executive-level stakeholders.
  • You have a demonstrated passion for selling cybersecurity and know how to win.
  • Must be highly motivated, self-starter, possess a positive-aggressive attitude, and have excellent organizational skills.
  • Devotion to continual personal sales development, customer service, and follow-up.
  • The ability to be flexible and work in a rapidly changing environment is required.
  • The ability to work with a variety of internal groups.
