Position Summary

The Account Director is part of the team working across two key APAC accounts out of the Singapore Hub in local and regional capacity. This role primarily focuses on an exciting global consumer electronics client and finance client, both leaders in their categories.

Working closely with APAC Business Leads, and in consultation with the activation leads, and with UM Studios (IPG Mediabrands' creative and content arm), the role is responsible for helping to drive and deliver thought leadership, capability development, innovation initiatives, strategic planning, best practice implementation and regional operational excellence.

We are looking for an individual with the right balance of strategic thinking and operational experience, someone who can not only drive media performance and data/tech thought leadership, capability and innovation but can also operationalise the deliverables.

The ideal candidate will have had experience in integrated media planning, implementation and measurement. Ideally the candidate will have experience within the eCommerce/Direct to Consumer space to provide a strong point of view and input on the entire media ecosystem from Strategic Planning, key Vendor relationships, Optimised Implementation approaches and market leading measurement.

This is a hands-on role; it will involve developing market leading strategic approaches to social In partnership with global/regional team members. It will also involve ensuring strategy and best practice implementation as well as delivering on operational excellence in collaboration with internal APAC teams and local markets.

The ideal candidate will provide exceptional service to key clients, be a person with natural advisory ability who demonstrates personal initiative and drive, exceptional quality with timely delivery, attention to detail and professionalism in all aspects of work undertaken and overseen.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will be responsible for:

Working in partnership with global/regional team members to develop innovation initiatives across Social, Content and Data/Tech Activation.

Collaborating with local market teams to ensure the delivery of strategy and best practice implementation, and support any operational requirements across the Social sphere.

Managing and overseeing Social and Content trackers - including target setting, measurement tracking, reporting; across key markets.

Working in partnership with regional clients to drive forward, innovate and manage key global partners (Facebook, TikTok and Twitter) and implement JVP programmes, as well as proactively identify potential platforms in the region to partner with.

Desired Skills & Experience

Skills & Qualifications

7+ years' experience in strategy, planning, executing and managing digital campaigns. Experience with eCommerce is preferred. Offline planning and buying experience is a bonus

Ability to create bespoke solutions best suited to meet desired objectives through the full marketing funnel.

Experience in a media agency or an in-house digital marketing department is a must, as is experience leading and growing a team.

Excellent track record in building client relationships through consultancy and advisory of all things media strategy and tactics.

Able to put together presentations, has dynamic presentation skills with the ability to clearly link media and content strategies to clients' business ambitions and deliverables.

Able to build strong relationships with key media vendors with the ability to obtain access to betas, thought leadership, category/consumer insights etc.

Collaborative team player with strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
