Job Description

You will be responsible for contributing to the growth of the accounting function in the Company, ensuring timely preparation of key reports and helping to drive the improvemenmt of accounting practices in the department.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparation of full set of accounts
• Assist in preparation of corporate tax computations
• Prepare quarterly GST submissions
• Ensure timelines of deliverables have been met
• Ability to interact with cross departmental colleagues to ensure accuracy in data and information flow from front-end operations to the accounting reports
• Liaise with auditors, tax agents and regulators, answering queries on behalf of the Company
• Assist with general administrative matters
• Assist in ad hoc projects as and when required

• Good knowledge of Singapore Financial Reporting Standards, CPF, GST and relevant tax rules, procedures and guidelines
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting softwares
• Proficiency and experience in using XERO accouting system will be a bonus
• A passion for all things finance and accounting
• An ability to think & work strategically and systematically – continuously prioritising key deliverables
• Good problem-solving skills and an ability to think out of the box with solutions that are scalable, sustainable, yet most cost-efficient

• Graduate must possess a minimum of Professional Degree in Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent
• Min 2 years accounting experience
• Ability to start work immediately or on short notice will be an added advantage
