The Account Executive role is a specialist role that provides a continuous daily mix of exceptional business development and relationship management. By achieving this high level of service, the desired aim is to maximize premium client onboarding and retention, along with growing and improving CMC's institutional and retail business through a mix of client referrals and networking. CMC Markets' Sales Trading desk boasts the lead position for premier services of its type in the Singapore CFD retail derivatives industry. ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES Leverage your current contacts to immediately generate revenue for CMC by promoting our CFD offering Source prospective clients for the Company in addition to your current network Follow up on all prospective leads, explaining CMC Markets' USPs in order to optimise CMC's position in the marketplace Develop, build and maintain strong relationships with your existing clients Keep abreast of global and economic news in order to provide trading support to your clients Maintain a strong working knowledge of competitor companies within related markets sharing knowledge with relevant internal departments Collaborate across CMC to ensure that all clients' requirements are identified and relevant IT and trading platform solutions are offered Educate clients on the use of CMC's platform, systems and trading processes to ensure maximum client satisfaction - and consequently maximum revenue for CMC When dealing with all customers or colleagues ensure that we provide a clear, fair and consistent high quality service that presents a professional and positive image of CMC Markets Maintain strong regulatory knowledge relevant to your role and experience of liaising with Legal & Compliance to ensure best sales practice Maintain personal/professional development to meet the changing demands of the role, including all relevant regulatory and legislative training When dealing with all customers, clients or colleagues ensure that we provide a clear, fair and consistent high quality service that presents a professional and positive image of CMC Markets Take all reasonable steps to ensure appropriate confidentiality Undertake such other duties, training and/or hours of work as may be reasonably required and which are consistent with the general level of responsibility of this role. KEY SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE Must be fluent in French Confident verbal and written communicator in English and relevant regional language, with ability to liaise effectively at all levels Minimum 3-5 years' experience in derivative and financial sales Be highly articulate, both in person and in writing, with the ability to communicate with and sell to clients of differing backgrounds Proven ability to win new business and develop strong networks Be extremely motivated with great attention to detail Have strong experience in financial sales, with experience of dealing with companies within the CFD sector. Proactive, positive and flexible approach to teamwork Hard working individual with a real passion for talking to people about FX trading and other margin trading products. Knowledge and awareness about our competitors within the CFD sector Commercial awareness to identify good leads and business opportunities for partnerships Proven Business Development/Relationship Management experience. Able to work confidently to performance targets Self-motivated and driven able to act on own initiative COMPETENCIES Sales and Business Development Problem Solving Takes personal responsibility to deliver results Work well as part of a team to achieve targets Strong writing and communication skills, including the use of PowerPoint and Excel Solid multi-tasking and organisation skills Effectively managing own pipeline of work
