Responsibilities:

In this role, you will play a key member in the accounting and finance function. You will collaborate and work closely with our operation and business team to act as the trusted business partner between finance and business.

Job Scope:

• Perform day to day accounting and finance operations including AP AR GL, Bank reconciliation.
• Assist with the improvement of financial systems & management based on the business models and business units.
• Support the establishment of financial policies and sops including but not limited to revenue recognition and AR accounting, cost accounting, cash management and month end closing, and implement accordingly on timely basis.
• Assist with the preparation of financial planning and analysis, streamlining the financial data based on business units, establishing the key metrics and definitions.
• Support to build up the financial platform for business units, prepare monthly quarterly and annual management reporting package including financial statements, key metrics and notes.
• Carry out research on intricate accounting matters and investigation on the business data, to find out the root cause and discover solutions to the management.
• Prepare quarterly GST submission and handle local tax matters, ensuring timely submission to local authorities
• Assist with corporate secretarial work and compliance requirements, ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements
• Assist in the preparation of surveys, reports and forms as required by the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS)
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Degree in Accounting or ACCA. Good knowledge of IFRS. CPA is a plus.
• 3 years of experience in relevant position in accounting/ finance. Related experience in Fintech, banking, crypto industry will be advantageous.
• Candidates with no experience related experience but with at least 2 years of accounting work experience with big 4 audit background will be considered too.
• Experienced and knowledgeable of accounting systems & procedures, financial planning and management systems.
• Proficient in Excel
• Demonstrated interest in Fintech & blockchain technology.
• Ability to start work immediately will be advantageous
