About Our Client

• Our client is well established and growing Private Equity firm headquartered in Indonesia with offices in Singapore. They invest in companies ranging from consumer, healthcare, education and technology companies. They have seen tremendous growth and opportunities in their portfolios and is currently looking for an Accountant to be based in Singapore and working closely with their finance team in Indonesia

Reporting Directly to a Financial Controller, your key responsibilities would include:

• Handle full sets of account including accounts payable, receivable, general ledger, etc

• Reconciliation of Balance Sheets accounts including creditors, fixed assets and banks

• Assist on preparation of management accounts and audited financial statements

• Assist on tax and statutory audit compliance, including internal audit

• Assist on preparing Quarterly GST submission and other statutory returns

• Assist on annual budget preparation and monitoring

• Update, maintain and implement MAS policies and procedures to ensure consistent compliant, including but not limited to annual/onboarding customers/service providers due diligence and maintain MAS compliance checklist

The Successful Applicant
To Succeed in this role, you should ideally possess the following:

• Bachelor\'s degree in Accounting or Finance

• More than 3 years of working experience in Accountancy/Finance

• Well versed with full sets of accounts, GST/tax matters, management and financial reporting

• Experience with MAS policies & procedures would be advantageous

• Self starter, willing to learn and team player
