The additional context, perspective and insights we provide have helped fund a century of growth and enables you to make important credit judgments with confidence.Fitch Group Finance team is currently seeking a temporary finance analyst based out of our Singapore office.Finance team in Singapore is APAC Regional Finance hub supervising and supporting the finance functions of Fitch\'s rating and non-rating business in the region, working closely with Group Finance team in London/New York and local Finance team in other Asia countries.What We Offer:

  • Directly accountable to the Assistant Controller ensuring financial integrity and regional compliance
We\'ll Count on You To:Support the finance department and management team by completing routine clerical and accounting tasks. Preparing reports, and completing financial closing and accounting duties for the company. Also include:
  • General Bookkeeping: Assist in managing day-to-day accounting and finance requirements such as journal entries, invoicing, and account reconciliations
  • Accounts Payable and Receivable: Process accounts payable and accounts receivable in a timely manner while ensuring accuracy of data entry. This includes generating invoices, tracking payments, and following up on outstanding balances
  • Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
  • Data Management: Maintain digital and physical financial records
  • Payroll Support: Assist with payroll processing, ensuring that employees are paid in a timely and accurate manner
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with GAAP, and relevant financial regulations and guidelines
  • Audits: Provide support during statutory audits by preparing required schedules and documentation
  • Expense Management: Process employee expense claims, ensuring that company policies are adhered to
  • Administrative Support: Perform administrative tasks such as filing, handling mail, and making phone calls
What You Need to Have:
  • Associate\'s degree in accounting, finance, or related field; bachelor\'s degree preferred
  • Proven experience as an Account Analyst or in a similar role
  • Good understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting principles
  • Proficient with accounting software (e.g., SAP etc.) and MS Office (especially Excel)
  • High level of accuracy, efficiency, and accountability
