Our client is looking for a Business Development Executive (1 year contract renewable) to develop the Calculator business in Singapore. Fixed bonus and Variable Bonus will be given. This position is convertible to permanent staff. Job Responsibilities: Develop and plan strategies to grow the scientific calculator business Explore opportunities in scientific calculators in Singapore education business Expansion of the company's calculator usage and adoption at schools (Primary, Secondary, JC), Polytechnics, University, International school, etc). Plan, coordinate and execute activities for education sector (eg. Workshop), work closely with school dealers or teachers to increase the usage of the company's calculators (e.g. Scientific & Graphic calculator) Work closely with teachers and Ministry of Education or Curriculum Developer to influence the adoption of the company's calculators in school curriculum. Coordinate, plan and implement the company's co-operations in terms of teaching material to expand the usage, adoption of the company's products (Scientific, Graphic calculator) to teachers. Contact and build network to educational authorities (NIE, MOE, Math Association, Teaching Institutions or Teachers) Conduct market research and monitor competitor activities in Education Sector Participation of Educational conference, Trade shows, Road show. Generate and submit monthly reports.
