Job Description


Description:

  • Processes vendor invoices including PO-based invoices, non-PO-based invoices and non-invoice payment requests.
  • Processes intercompany invoices.
  • Ensures invoices are accurately processed and on a timely basis.
  • Ensure appropriate authorisation, payment details and other necessary details.
  • Processes payments for all method of payments including manual cheques, outsource cheques, giro-interbank transfers and telegraphic transfers.
  • Processes petty cash float request from petty cash custodian.
  • Ensures all payments made are captured.
  • Processes payments on behalf.
  • Processes staff expense claims.
  • Processes travel advances.
  • Prepare Accounts Payable month-end schedule for AP-related accounts as per balance sheet such as AP aging, Accrual-GR/IR Clearing and other AP-related accounts.
  • Ensures completeness of manual or computerized cheques and on a timely basis.
  • Responds to queries from vendors.
  • Processes billing requests and billing cancellations, lease billing and accounting, generates credit / debit notes, and manages Accounts Receivable invoice disputes.
  • Handles collection of debts.
  • Assists in period-end closing activities and liaising with other teams as required.
  • Generates intercompany invoices.
  • Escalates issues to Accounts Receivable 2 when necessary to avoid delays in processing.
  • Performs processing of all modes of collections, refunds, debtor reconciliations and confirmations.
  • Prepares Accounts Receivable aging report, audit schedules related to Accounts Receivable and sends customer statement of accounts.
  • Prepares monthly credit minutes and attends credit review.
  • Performs closing and reconciliation processes.
  • Performs daily reasonableness check on property posting for billing, revenue and receipt.
  • Performs income audit.
  • Performs intercompany settlements.
  • Attends to ad-hoc customer queries on invoices as required or internal queries on billing.
  • Any other ad hoc duties as assigned.

Period:
  • 2 Month Contract
Location:
  • City Hall MRT
Working Hours:
  • Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 6pm
Salary:
  • $15/hr
Requirements:
  • Diploma/Degree in Accountancy or ACCA or equivalent.
  • At least 2 years of relevant working experience in computerized accounting environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
  • Knowledge of Oracle Fusion is an advantage.
  • Possesses integrity & accounting professionalism.
  • Resourceful with a keen analytical mind.
  • Self-driven and able to work independently under tight schedules.
