• Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Logistic/Transportation or equivalent.
• At least 3 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Preferably Executive specialized in Logistics/Supply Chain or equivalent.
• Possess excellent planning, communication, interpersonal, organizational and analytical skills.
• Detail and deadline oriented. Able to work independently with minimal direction.
• Certified Custom Specialist is preferred
• Solid knowledge and experience working with Microsoft’s Word, Excel and PowerPoint software.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for Global Customs, International Trade/Export compliance programs
• Researches new rules and regulations on respective importing countries and consult port authorities, logistic service providers, import agencies and customs authorities to ensure the company is in compliance with freight and shipping guidelines especially given our returnable container lease business.
• Identifies non-compliance and leads and directs corrective actions by regions to ensure compliance with customs, tax, financial, legal and other government agency regulations
• Optimizes duties and other costs within the compliance framework
• Able to be in direct contact with the different Custom authorities in the world to discuss/negotiate optimal process and customs declaration.
• Keep fully up to date about customs and other relevant regulations, and based on that define company strategy, update and implement SOPs, train the organizations
• Support Regions when audited or challenged by (Customs) authorities
• Prepares related import / export documentation based on internal/external customer requirements
• Responsible to support and give guidance to manage the Import / export supply chain systems and procedures.
• Responsible for determining accurate classification data. Maintains current knowledge of import and export compliance
• Ensure compliance with all aspect of export laws and regulations in APAC
