Job Description


  • Responsible for the day-to-day leadership, co-ordination and management between the partner(s) and the internal business units using a matrix team system.
  • Accountable for the operational performance of the Partner Markets with distributors / external partners for the assigned region(s)
  • Achievement of gross and net sales performance for Partner Markets distributed through partners in alignment with internal stakeholders. Ensuring operational effectiveness within the Partner Markets perimeter in alignment with internal stakeholders and Asia Zone team
  • Responsible for maintaining strong, effective external professional and public market relationships with commercial key stakeholders across the Partner Markets perimeter and internally Global Function Heads including Medical, External Affairs, HR & Supply Chain in line with Vaccines GBU strategic action plan
Functions and responsibilities
  • Take a leading role in the management of the relationship with Partner Markets partners and internal stakeholders in accordance with the contractual obligations of the partner
  • Driving P&L achievement through strategic and operational guidance to the partners to ensure business sustenance and growth
  • Together with global and Asia Zone governance team, support the implementation of the GBU medico-marketing strategies in conjunction with the partners
  • Work with internal and external partners to manage, co-ordinate or facilitate all GxP matters.
Key deliverables
  • Achievement of the annual commercial targets (annual gross and net sales) in conjunction with partners
  • Achievement of other operational effectiveness targets (Supply Chain, customer satisfaction, etc.) in conjunction with partners
  • Advance public health footprint through inclusion of our vaccines in universal or targeted immunisation programs

  • Ensure the Sanofi reputation and customer satisfaction is maintained in the local markets

Person profile and required skills and qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Science
  • Master’s in management (preferable)
  • Fluent in English
Work Experience
  • Commercial leadership or project management / consulting experience.
  • Experience in managing multiple public and private stakeholders both internally and externally
  • Experience within the pharmaceutical sector ideal
Knowledge
  • Broad based knowledge of the Sanofi vaccines portfolio and culture, strategies, and business models of different marketplaces
  • Ability to perform strategic analyses and planning, excellent English language knowledge and skills (written and oral), IT knowledge and skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), proven project management skills, communication, presentation, persuasion., ability to work cross-functionally.
  • Ideal (but not essential) knowledge of pharmaceutical sales, marketing, medical and GxP processes.
