Job Description

1 year contract (renewable) :

• Tasks include removing and cleaning carpets, wiping windows, changing curtains, removing waste from seats, cleaning lights, changing & moving passenger seats, cleaning electrical equipment, maintaining and repairing airplane cabins, maintaining entertainment and lighting systems, performing laboratory cleaning and replenishing activities, performing floor vacuuming, cleaning seat pockets, luggage storage area, etc.
• Perform the task of cleaning aircraft interior and exterior during periodic overhauls.
• Changes lighting systems and repairs entertainment systems, seat electrical systems, etc.
• Comprehensive knowledge of aircraft cleaning operations and activities as well as facility maintenance.
• Perform the task of removing and cleaning curtains, discarding waste from the seats and adjusting bulkheads.
• Flexible and possesses the willingness and ability to work for long hours and on weekends.
• Ability to perform the given tasks in high-noise areas and at great heights (with PPEs).
• Maintenance and repair of aircraft cabins.
• Maintain, repair and restore cargo compartments and their components.
• Maintain inventory items required for handling the cleaning activities.
• Install cabin interior components into commercial aircraft including seat tracks, overhead bins, galleys, side panels, bulkheads, etc.
• Maintain the quality of the aircraft interiors on the operated fleet.
• Maintain the interior and exterior cleaning standards on the operating fleet.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum diploma in engineering, preferably in Aerospace or relevant certificates.
• At least 3 years of working experience in the aviation industry as a full fledge technician, excluding OJT (On Job Training), helper and assistant mechanics.
• Mechanically and electrically trained (Maintenance).
• Exposure to GE CFM Engines, Rolls Royce Trent, Engine Alliance GP, and PW Engines.
• Excellent analytical, interpersonal, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Mechanically and electrically trained on Aircraft systems.
• Exposure on commercial aircraft from Boeing and Airbus, wide and narrow-bodied airframes.
