Job Title Airline IT Delivery Manager
Vision and Strategy
- Understand the Amadeus strategy and vision around the full scope of Airline IT solutions and apply it to Delivery Management.
- Understand customer business, strategy, and challenges to ensure prioritisation of deliveries in line with customer\'s needs.
Customer Management
- Develop relationships with both Customer IT & Business Management teams at the appropriate level to reinforce & sustain strategic partnership with customers.
- Project Manage with quality & consistency all Airline IT deliveries needed by the customer. This consists of but not limited to:
a) Get a good knowledge on solution(s) contracted by Customer and also ensure Customer understands its full capability.
b) Obtain committed delivery timeline internally and communicate accordingly to Customer. Ensure that Customer\'s plan and Amadeus\' plan are fully in sync.
c) Provide regular dashboards to Customer on deliverables, risks and issues and organise appropriate meetings to review these dahsboards.
d) Manage Change Management process.
e) Trigger billing as per contractual terms.
- Act as a central point of escalation for delivery matters.
- Contribute to the elaboration of an action plan to ensure a sustainable high level of customer satisfaction.
Delivery and Reporting
- Proactively manage the ongoing pipeline & status of functional deliverables according to customer commitments & expectations, including standard solutions, bespoke development, consulting & other Services.
- Mobilize and coordinate line organizations (Product Management, Development, Implementation, operations, etc.) to ensure delivery of 1A commitments in line with customer expectations.
- Act as prime point of escalation for ongoing functional issues (eg. CRs, Work Orders, PTRs)
- Create, manage and keep up to-date the Internal Airline IT Dashboard per customer in order to provide accurate status of all deliverables (functional, cost & commercial), risks & issues.
- Contribute to the invoicing process of the delivered implementation.
- Adhere to standard Delivery Management processes, procedures, tools and techniques
- Participate in a continuous improvement process for measuring and improving performance, satisfaction and skills (via targeted training)
- Identify, share and re-use functional Best Practices, experiences, and lessons learned within Airline IT through forums, calls, communities, etc.
