Primary Overview:

  • Manage sales and customer relationships within existing Abbott accounts/customers to drive ongoing business profitability, customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Drive value creation and to deliver outstanding day-to-day customer support to existing customers in allocated territory, enabling them to achieve their strategic priorities and drive efficiencies with our products (Alinity; AlinIQ)
Major Responsibilities:

Account Management
  • Develop and execute account management plans/tactics to grow existing business, selling solutions and upgrading service contracts
  • Act as main point of contact to support Abbott customers across all aspects of their business and handling any product issue or support requests as the product/solution expert
  • Support implementation transition for new start ups, own post sales customer support activities and drive overall health system operations optimization.
  • Support renewal of existing business, working closely with enterprise account team
Account Growth
  • Own and execute account strategy to expand Abbott\'s business and assist customers with growing their business.
  • Understand customers\' future needs, identify new opportunities that offer additional value, and become a trusted advisor improving customer satisfaction.
  • Assess utilization and inefficiencies on instruments and adding solutions, working with customer to maximize capabilities
Customer Loyalty and Management
  • Create ongoing value that results in customer renewal, generation of additional business, and establishing strong brand loyalty
  • Consult with customer to improve operations and deliver insights
  • Develop strong relationships with key account stakeholders and continuously demonstrate the value of our products and solutions
Responsibilities:
  • Bachelor\'s Degree in Biomedical Engineering/Life Sciences or other related Science/Engineering discipline preferred
  • Min 6 years of experience in key account management/sales or technical application/service in diagnostics/life sciences industry
  • Candidates with background in hospital or laboratory application/engineering are preferred
  • Good understanding of performance metrics in hospital or laboratory settings
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication skills
  • Good problem solving, prioritization and negotiation skills
  • Service and customer oriented individual
