What you will be working on:

The Strategic Planning (SP) unit under the Strategic Planning & International Relations (SPR) cluster supports senior management in reviewing PSD\'s current strategies and risks, and identifying future ones that are aligned to our objectives and priorities. You will be part of a dynamic team that supports the implementation of PSD\'s strategic and corporate planning cycle, the building of internal processes to support the implementation of our organisational strategies, the implementation of critical strategic priorities, and the facilitation of long-term thinking and thought leadership within the organisation. Specific Job Responsibilities The Strategic Planning Unit (SP) under SPR cluster supports PSD\'s senior management in the following: \xe2\x80\xa2 Drive PSD\'s strategic and corporate planning cycle - facilitate integrated work and resource planning across PSD to drive business and internal transformation. \xe2\x80\xa2 Oversee strategic coordination and engagements at various levels, both with internal clusters and externally with other public agencies - synthesise information obtained from various engagements to facilitate collective sense-making. \xe2\x80\xa2 Develop organisational scorecards and mechanisms to monitor progress of our strategic objectives and priorities. \xe2\x80\xa2 Conduct benchmarking and research on key strategic areas. \xe2\x80\xa2 Implement Enterprise Risk Management and build risk culture.

Work Experience, Competencies & Personal Traits An ideal candidate should possess the following: \xe2\x80\xa2 [Strategic/Corporate Planning] Able to conceptualise, plan, and implement short- and long-term strategic solutions (including but not limited to progress management frameworks, organisational improvement initiatives, and corporate events) to ensure the achievement of PSD\'s objectives. \xe2\x80\xa2 [Corporate Performance Management] Able to develop and implement performance management frameworks and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive achievement of the agency\'s strategic priorities. \xe2\x80\xa2 [Thinking Clearly and Making Sound Judgement] Able to consider and integrate different perspectives and operate at different levels of analysis (e.g. service-wide, organisational-level, officer-level) to make sound and timely recommendations. \xe2\x80\xa2 [Working Effectively with Stakeholders] Able to effectively engage stakeholders to understand their needs and concerns, involve them in the solutioning process and seek their buy-in to initiatives. You should possess strong communication (written and verbal) and presentation skills to engage internal and external stakeholders of different seniority. Successful candidates will be offered a 2-year contract in the first instance.
