What the role is:Analyst - Senior Principal Analyst (Market Development & Surveillance Dept)What you will be working on:- Monitor and review the performance of the wholesale and retail (electricity) market - Develop and implement regulatory framework and policies to enhance competition in the energy market, and seek stakeholder feedback through public consultations - Perform market modelling and simulations, and use visualisation tools to support recommendations on regulatory framework and policies\xe2\x80\x8bWhat we are looking for:- Knowledge in Economics, Business Administration / Studies and Engineering - Prior experience in economic regulatory, power generation sector, and/or policy work will be an advantage - Prior experience in data management, performing data analytics (e.g. Python, Excel, SAS), and using visualisation tools (e.g. Qlik, PowerBI) will be beneficial. - Possess strong analytical abilities - Good written, oral communication, and presentation skills - Resourceful, able to work independently and in a teamAbout Energy Market Authority:The Energy Market Authority (EMA) is a statutory board under the Ministry of Trade and Industry.
