Group Technology and Operations (T&O) enables and empowers the bank with an efficient, nimble and resilient infrastructure through a strategic focus on productivity, quality & control, technology, people capability and innovation. In Group T&O, we manage the majority of the Bank\'s operational processes and inspire to delight our business partners through our multiple banking delivery channels.

We are seeking a talented and motivated SRE Engineer (Data) to join our SRE-Data Analytics team. The ideal candidate will have the passion for data and analytics, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to extract meaningful insights from complex datasets.

Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, and preprocess data from various sources to ensure accuracy and reliability.
• Develop and maintain data pipelines for automated data extraction and transformation.
• Perform exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.
• Conduct statistical analysis to generate actionable insights and recommendations.
• Create visualizations and dashboards to communicate findings effectively.
• Generate regular and ad-hoc reports for different stakeholders.
• Present findings to non-technical teams and senior management in a clear and understandable manner.
• Build and maintain predictive models to support business objectives.
• Evaluate model performance and make improvements as necessary.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs and provide analytical support.

Requirements

• Bachelor\'s degree in a relevant field.
• Proven experience as an SRE for Data related projects.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools and languages (e.g., Python, R, SQL).
• Strong knowledge of data visualization tools (e.g., Grafana, Tableau, Power BI).
• Experience with data modeling and machine learning is a plus.
• Experience in managing OpenShift, Kubernetes, Docker, RHEL.
• Experience in container image deploy and release management with OpenShift and Kubernetes.
• Good knowledge on monitoring tools - Prometheus, Grafana and ELK.
• Must have strong automation and scripting skills - proficiency in shell, groovy & python.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and presentation abilities.
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
