Work closely with the team of Asia Economists to conduct data analysis, make forecasts and write research reports on a broad set of Asian economies (including ASEAN, India, etc.), and thematic research on the whole Asian region . Work in close conjunction across the broader research team including with other analysts and strategists both domestically and globally . Compiling and analyzing economic data and financial market information, quantitative analysis, economic forecasting and ad-hoc client requests . Provide regular contributions to written research, interactions with and presentations to both internal and external clients . The role has a high degree of client focus both internally and externally . The position is located in Singapore with the ability to travel as required Required Experience: . Master degree in Economics or Finance is preferred . 3-5 years of related working experience . High-level written and verbal communication skills in English and mastering one regional language will be a plus . Experienced with quantitative analysis and database management . Strong knowledge of and experience in using Microsoft Excel . Experience with econometric and programming software (e.g., Stata, Matlab, R, Python) as well as data/news services including Bloomberg, DataStream and Reuters would be a plus . Ability to communicate effectively and build relationships with both internal and external clients . Demonstrated ability to work tight deadlines, with degree of independence and high level of initiative and motivation Bank of America is an equal opportunities employer.
