Job Overview

Oliver Wyman is seeking strong candidates for a Talent Management Coordinator interested in joining an expanding talent management function and fast growing region. They will fully support the Talent Management Lead and team with all aspects of the function such as staffing and resource allocation, performance management, talent development and career advisory across the Asia Pacific Region (which includes offices in Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Hong Kong, Shanghai, Beijing, Japan and Australia).

Responsibilities

  • Support talent management across the employee lifecycle, including staffing and resource allocation, performance management, talent development and career advisory aspects.
  • Coordinate performance management, career planning, project review processes for all consulting staff.
  • Support the staffing (resource allocation) process, including updating and maintaining project team information.
  • Prepare and manage staffing reporting such as utilisation reports, weekly staffing reports, availability reports, pipeline, time variance reporting and follow-up etc.
  • Manage and maintain talent data integrity via regular interactions with HC Operations, Recruitment and other members of HC globally.
  • Responsible for overall talent systems administration within the region.
  • Represent the region in global working groups on various HC and talent management projects and initiatives, eg. HC systems, consultant communications, career advisor and buddy programs, performance management etc.
  • Analyze data and provide general support for various firm talent programs, such as work-life balance initiatives, vacation management, flexible work arrangement initiatives etc.
  • Participate in the learning and development agenda for the consultant population.
  • Contribute to the continual improvement of HC initiatives both regional and globally.

  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills and able to deal with people at all levels within a multicultural environment.

  • Client service focused with a flexible attitude and is solutions oriented.
  • Ability to multitask, organise, prioritise and manage one's own time.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills and solution orientated
  • High intrinsic motivation and desire to succeed with ability to 'roll up his/her sleeves' to get the job done, even to more mundane aspects of the job.
  • Ability to manage a heavy work volume and meet deadlines in an extremely fast paced environment.
  • Attention to detail and high level of accuracy, proficient with data analysis and reporting
  • Ability to maintain and respect confidentiality.

Technical skills
  • Good Word, PowerPoint and Excel skills.
  • Working knowledge of Outlook.
  • Experience with HR systems, such as retain, PeopleSoft, would be an advantage.
