What the role is:The Data Office champions the overall HR data strategy for the whole-of-government and PSD. We are responsible for end-to-end solutioning to allow PSD to use data effectively in developing its policies and programmes, as well as to drive adoption and evolution of HR data analytics across the public service. To achieve this, the team oversees the full spectrum of activities pertaining to data, including data analysis, infrastructure development, data engineering, data operations, and data governance.What you will be working on:[Specific Job Responsibilities] The Data Planning & Products Team drives the whole-of-government (WOG) HR Data Strategy through the planning and development of data products, managing the entire process from end-to-end. The team serves as the \xe2\x80\x9cbridge\xe2\x80\x9d between end-users and technical teams, understanding business problems and needs, translating them into data and system requirements, and developing data products and solutions that enable end-users to draw actionable insights. As part of the Data Planning & Products Team, you will be supporting the Team Lead in the development of the WOG data analytics platform for Public Service workforce data and the development of HR data products for the stakeholders. Through the successful implementation of analytics platform and data products, the various stakeholders in the Public Service will be able to access data and insights required for their strategic workforce planning and decision making. Specifically, you will be leading and driving one of the data products-the State-of-Service reports-a suite of reports and dashboards that provides our stakeholders a macro-overview and key trends of the Public Service workforce. In addition, you will also be responsible for collecting, analysing, and interpreting data to provide insights for other emerging HR analytics business questions for WOG. You will work closely with the relevant teams to understand business needs, develop data-driven solutions, and contribute to the development of WOG workforce strategies and policies.
