Job Description

1.Responsible for international legal work related to blockchain, big data, fintech and other frontier technologies as well as certain management functions; 2.Lead regulatory and commercial strategic advice for daily business operations, including product design, regulatory analysis, legal structuring, risk mapping, contract drafting and regulatory engagement strategies; 3.Coach, mentor and develop the professional skills of the team members and organize training and resources from time to time for team members to further business objectives; 4.Cooperate with data privacy protection team, intellectual property team, international legal team and other teams to handle legal affairs related to scientific and technological innovation; 5.Manage external law firm support in a cost-efficient manner; 6.Provide regular training to colleagues on relevant legal issues and keep up with the latest legislative trends and development relevant to the business; and 7.Advise management on legal aspects of strategic direction of business development.
1.Bachelor or above degree in law; 2. A minimum of 8 years PQE with leading technology company, internet company or law firm; 3. Strong regulatory/compliance knowledge and skills in relation to technology business. Strong commercial sense and good ability to balance risks and business objectives; 4. Highly motivated self-starter, good team player. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines; 5. Excellent command of both spoken and written English and Mandarin Chinese; 6. Strong legal knowledge and skills, able to work independently in a fast-paced environment; 7.Regular Travel to China to be expected.
