What you will do

• Handle Qualification and Release of Automated Optical Inspection machines.
• Develop and Maintain AOI/AXI programs and equipment.
• Identify and solve AOI systems issues and weaknesses.
• Implement actions to improve efficiency and reliability of the AOI systems.
• Eliminate or reduce manual visual inspection by installing vision systems especially for very critical defects.
• Work regularly with the ATCB Cross Functional Team (Engineering, Operations, Quality) with respect to the required AOI machine process function and capability.
• Drive continuous improvements by incorporating a closed loop corrective action process for root cause identification and correction
• Train and mentor AOI technicians and other engineers by creating technical documentations, procedures and training materials for the AOI systems
• Standardization of AOI specifications and requirements based on learnings and best practice.
• Supports the Nexperia AOI cluster team through sharing of solutions, improvement initiatives as well as learnings on AOI systems.

What you will need
The incumbent must have the following:

• 1. Self-driven and can formulate improvement actions with less guidance and supervision.
• 2. Experience on any high-level programming language.
• 3. Fast learner of above average aptitude, with initiative and willingness to learn and explore new ideas.
• 4. Strong problem-solving, critical judgment, conceptualization, and research skills
• 5. Knowledgeable in Statistical tools application (Pareto, SPC charts, DOE, MSA)
• 6. Strong in Electronics and Mechanical aptitude.

A. Work Experience:

• At least 10 years’ experience working in Semiconductor company under Process or Equipment engineering.
• At least 5 years’ experience working in Semiconductor company handling vision systems.
• Knowledgeable with AOI Hardware Systems, Windows PC’s and Installing Software and Windows Operating Systems

B. Education/Field of Study

• Graduate in Engineering Course (ECE, Comp Engg, EE, ME) or other related courses

C. Professional Requirements/Skills:

• Familiar with Equipment Metrics (OEE, MTBA, MTBF, UPH etc.).
• Experienced and trained Project Management

D. Knowledge of specific tools

• Must well versed in any of programming languages (VB, .Net, C++, etc) and supporting AOI systems in a manufacturing environment
