Our leading Chemical MNC client is currently expanding and is looking for suitable candidates for the APAC Business Development Manager position.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
This position will be responsible to gather competitive intelligence across all market sub-segments and to compile and present market analysis, including competitive analysis. This individual will lead calls to strategic targets for market development and will build awareness of market trends. This position will work very closely with Sales Teams, R&D and Business Development teams in Asia with some interaction with BD teams on a global basis. This role is expected to be aware of patent landscape from business perspective on an ongoing basis. They will also maintain market research and analysis with an emphasis on new insights, market trends and customer needs.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree. Business, Marketing, Engineering, Chemistry or related studies. MBA or post graduate degree a plus Specialty Chemical experience highly preferred Previous experience in the Coatings, Sealants and Adhesives business is an advantage Minimum 10 years' experience in sales and/or marketing / business management. Good time management and organization skills. Good interpersonal skills, presentation skills, negotiating skills. Demonstrated success in contract negotiation, closing a deal/sale, finding new sales and bringing ideas forward that may add value to the overall company.
