Responsible for leading the APAC Capability Development Centre of Excellence (CoE) to ensure the APAC JJIM organisation identifies, monitors, and builds capabilities that are required to execute our commercial strategy and makes us competitive in the short and long-term.
This is achieved through direct leadership of the Capability Development CoE (incl. direct report), close engagement with Capability leads across the markets and strong partnerships with the wider CE team and key in-market stakeholders to influence and improve the way we operate in the future. Tasked with the role of improving our commercial capabilities, this position will have a significant opportunity to directly drive enterprise growth and efficiency.
*Please note that the role will require 20% travel due to the regional portfolio.*
Key Responsibilities
T he APAC Ca pability Director leads the capability development strategy process and is accountable for the planning and flawless execution of capability development activities that drive our competitiveness aligned with business priorities. This includes the design and deployment of new capability development approaches that strengthen our commercial execution in areas such as sales & marketing, customer & patient experience, data science and new ways of working such as agile.
1. Strategy development, execution and iteration - develops an execution plan to build strategic capabilities and create a learning culture, that recognises our constant evolution to t he changing external environment and aligns with APACs commercial strategy. Manages the annual process for identifying capabilities that will drive competitiveness across the APAC region and supports the local markets in recognising and prioritising new capabilities.
2. Content development and facilitation of training - partner with global, local and external partners where needed to build internal competences aligned with strategy. Innovates digital learning options within the region.
3. Adoption roadmap and measure impact - set clear adoption roadmap and support COE\'s in embedding new capabilities within the wider organisation. Establishes a goal setting and measurement process to track capability building impact on employee development and business results.
4. Collaboration - partner and collaborate with teams across the organisation who build capabilities, to ensure all of our capability development is connected and purposeful.
5. Thought Leadership - bring external trends and insights around evolving customer engagement models and skills of the future into the organisation.
6. Change Leadership - inspire our people to embrace change, and equip them with the tools and resources to build new skills and ways of working.
7. People Leadership - manages the APAC Capability Development - Associate Director (direct report) and collaborates with Capability Leads across markets. Empowers team members to execute and champion their careers and development.
8. Leadership Engagement - Communicate a clear and compelling narrative to gain leadership buy-in, align organizational needs and strategic priorities, quantify impact, build relationships and address concerns productively.
9.
