Here, you can apply your talent in bold ways that matter.:3M\xe2\x80\x99s Consumer Business Group is seeking a regional Consumer Insights Manager to join the APAC Marketing Centre, Consumer Business Group (CBG), to be a key member the function.This position will be responsible for planning and managing consumer research focused on delivering insights-based direction to the business for operational execution and strategic planning for key consumer brands (Scotch-Brite, Command, Post-it, Scotch Tapes, Nexcare etc). The position will interact with regional business team, Area Marketing Centre team, lab and country marketers across Asia Pacific, to address key strategic issues through research and interact with external vendors as needed, for execution and action planning for the relevant portfolio. The role will embed insights strategically for improved brand communications, product, packaging and identification of opportunities to drive business growth for the Consumer Business. Leading insights efforts on campaign planning, tracking performance and innovation for the respective portfolios will be key responsibility areas.This role will report to Insights and Analytics Leader, APAC Marketing Centre.Key Responsibilities & SkillsAct as the "voice of the consumer" within the organization on Consumer brandsEnvision and input in the annual Insights Plan and roadmap and collaborate with key stakeholders on assessing business issues to develop, manage and execute learning plans for the assigned core brandsConsult, advise and influence local and global brand teams on insights methodologies, usage and interpretation to address business issuesStrong knowledge of consumer insights using a broad array of current and new methodologies - quantitative and qualitativeBuild strong partnerships with research agency partners and ensure budget optimisationInitiate innovation in new consumer research methodologies to utilize digital, social media, AI and other tactics to drive elevate the quality and speed of workDemonstrated ability to translate information and data into actionable insights and recommendations.Strong strategic thinking skills, including capabilities to assess current situation, draw conclusions and envision future business opportunities.Strong communication skills (verbal and written/visual) to create, workshop and deliver compelling presentations of insights to teams, senior management and key retailers.Excellent project management skills and ability to prioritizeA team player with strong interpersonal and team-building skillsAbly lead team member(s)Travel as needed (
15%)Basic QualificationsBachelor\'s Degree from an accredited institution.Minimum twelve (12) years of consumer research experienceMinimum three (3) years of experience on brand/ client side.Preferred QualificationsMBA or Master\'s degree from an accredited institution.Regional experience preferredExperience with brand trackingWork ConditionWorker Type: PermanentWork Your Way Eligible (Employee choice to work remote, on site, or hybrid)This position does not require relocation.Employees from any of the following target locations may apply:
