Responsibilities

: " The purpose of the role is to provide programme management and controllership support to the legal entity rationalisation project across all markets within APAC. Job Title: APAC Finance Manager - LER Project : Support for Legal Entity Rationalisation Project Oversee the financial control and reporting requirements for the legal entity rationalisation (LER) project across APAC. This includes: Co-ordination and collation of market LER milestone plans in partnership with APAC Legal Tracking progress against delivery of LER plans to feed into global project reporting Review and follow-up on matters arising from due diligence process and LER checklists from markets Monitor completion of all financial system tasks (BPC, D365/local ERP, intercompany etc.) Perform an agreed level of independent validation that appropriate steps have been completed to fully close entities Partner with Group Treasury to track and monitor closure of bank accounts aligned to LER plan Other ad hoc projects as required Qualifications and Experience Internationally recognised finance/accounting qualification (i.e. CA/CPA) Significant financial control experience, preferably in the advertising, technology or related industry (but not essential) Strong technical knowledge in the application of international accounting standards and best practice governance policies Experience operating in a regional or head office within a matrix environment, building effective relationships wide range of stakeholders Evidence of delivering complex projects across a geographically dispersed business, ensuring successful collaboration across multiple finance teams to support local adoption Fluency in English Core Competencies Advanced oral and written communication, collaboration and relationship building skills ability to quickly form working relationships and gain credibility with senior management Strong influencing skills and judgement to get the right balance between pushing local management to deliver project outcomes and whilst ensuring a robust process is followed Ability to challenge existing thinking, taking a proactive approach in identifying and solving complex problems/ issues Ability to work to challenging deadlines, juggling multiple priorities to quality work in demanding fast-paced environment Ability to think innovatively in developing and implementing solutions Proven self-starter, able to work autonomously and demonstrate initiative, yet willing to ask for help when needed DENTSU VALUES Will live the dentsu 8 Ways at all times: We Dream Loud, We Inspire Change, We Team Without Limits, We All Lead, We Make It Real, We Climb High, We Choose Excitement, We Are A Force For Good INCLUSION & DIVERSITY We're proud to be different and that starts with our people.
