Our client is a global conglomerate that focuses on a wide range of technological and industrial sectors. The company offers a diverse portfolio of products, services, and solutions aimed at enhancing energy efficiency and promoting sustainability in buildings. One of the specific offerings would be their software and platform that provides a suite of connected solutions and features customized solutions for building efficiency factors and more. They are now looking for a senior Sales Director to look after Asia Pacific region, while reporting to a VP based in the United States. This is an exciting and rare opportunity to come by!

Description

Reporting to the Global VP for the Digital Software business, the APAC Sales Director will have the following responsibilities:

  • Lead P&L for the APAC business unit, overseeing the platform, software and AI business. You will be expected to drive strategic initiatives to maximize profitability and market presence.
  • Take charge of the platform solution business, discover new opportunities for enterprise clients to discover new ways to achieve efficiency, create sustainable value on their journey to carbon neutrality.
  • Develop and deliver the Annual Operating Plan for the business unit across APAC, ensuring secured volume and margin targets are met or exceeded.
  • Collaborate with the Business Development team to execute regional GTM strategies for the business, by identifying market opportunities, establishing strategic partnerships and driving market penetration and revenue growth.
  • Lead a high-performing sales team comprising of sales professionals and solution architects.
  • Drive the development of healthy pipeline, accelerating sales cycles, increase deal sizes and improve closing rates
  • Build and sustain relationships with senior executives at customer organizations and strategic partners, driving collaboration and maximizing revenue opportunities.
  • Establish yourself as an influential thought leader, promoting the value of digital solutions among business and professional communities.
  • Develop and orchestrate a network of government agencies, research institutions, and universities to drive innovation in the Net Zero and Autonomous, Healthy and Well Buildings space. Foster collaboration to address emerging trends and advance industry standards.
Profile
  • Bachelor\'s degree in engineering, data analytics, computer programming, business or related field (MBA or graduate degree highly desirable).
  • 15+ years of experience with in-depth understanding of software solutions so as to understand a complex solution offering for enterprise clients.
  • Broad knowledge of regulatory, legislative, business, and technology trends in multiple vertical markets.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, writing, and facilitation skills.
  • Proven success in enterprise software sales with value-based, solution selling approach.
  • Experience managing high-performing sales teams and fostering inclusive, innovative environments.
  • Strong business acumen, including knowledge of financial options and consulting clients on achieving targets.
  • Analytical skills to assess competitive landscapes, integrate data, and manage P&L while maintaining customer focus.
