Job Description

The incumbent will be based in Singapore to lead the Retail, Visual Merchandising (VM), and Merchandising operations across Asia. Reporting to the General Manager of Retail, he/she will drive financial and operational success, ensure excellent customer experiences, and manage stock and resources. The role involves developing team members and aligning operations with global standards. The Talent

• At least 8-10 years of retail operations experience in fashion retail industry
• Demonstrated experience in retail operational leadership or a comparable role.
• Exceptional organizational, strategic, and leadership abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
• Strong commercial acumen, capable of evaluating the value of experiences and services, confidently negotiating with suppliers, and proficient in budgeting and P&L management.
• Collaborative nature, skilled at uniting a team to achieve goals and leading them to execute with excellence.
• Proficient in team management and leadership.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

The Job

• Guide and motivate Retail, VM, and Merchandising teams to meet financial and operational goals.
• Engage in brand milestones, aiding in the implementation of brand strategy within the market.
• Provide valuable insights on products, customer feedback, and competitor activities to inform strategic decisions.
• Oversee and regulate local inventory and shipping, strategically allocating stock to boost sales, reduce waste, and enhance profit margins.
• Manage retail structure and resources in line with global operational guidelines, ensuring efficient store wage expenditure.
• Keep up-to-date with trade trends and future market plans to optimize commercial results.
• Promote a consistent and engaging customer experience and VM presentation that aligns with brand strategy and market standards.
• Cultivate a team of engaged and high-performing members and leaders, emphasizing wellness and engagement.
• Mentor and develop team members to strengthen succession planning within the organization.
• Establish clear expectations, evaluate performance, provide feedback, and follow up according to the group performance framework.
