Money for here, there and everywhere!Wise PLC is one of Europe\'s fastest growing companies we move billions of customers money around 160 countries and in 40 currencies, hold billions of customer funds, facilitate our customers to spend like a local with our Wise card and trusted by over 300,000 business both small and large with our international business account all the while saving our customers millions in fees.This truly is Money Without Borders.As part of our expanding operations in the APAC, we are now looking for an awesome Senior Tax Manager to join our growing finance team in Singapore serving our APAC operations.You\'ll be part of a commercially-minded Global Tax team in Finance, helping to ensure our tax affairs are efficient, transparently compliant and slick so that our mission is sustainable.Your mission

• Lead tax considerations of APAC countries for all country and product expansion
• Oversee regional corporate direct tax compliance and corporate direct tax and Transfer Pricing audits as they arise
• Ensure compliance with local TP requirements and manage the regional TP process, including regional benchmarks, Local File documentation and review of monthly TP numbers
• Stay abreast of international tax developments and assess their potential impact on the company\'s tax position
• Partner with the business to integrate tax considerations into the strategic decision making process

QualificationsA bit about you:As we continue to scale at speed, this role will inevitably evolve over time, so you\'ll need to be proactive, independent and excited at the prospect of solving unfamiliar problems.Must haves:

• Degree in accounting / finance and fully qualified CPA, ACCA or similar
• 7 years of experience in big 4 accounting firms / MNC experience
• Strong technical knowledge of APAC taxes and practical experience in handling international direct tax issues for MNCs

Good to have:

• Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to articulate complex tax problems to diverse stakeholders to support decision making at all levels
• Knowledge and experience working on tax matters in India
• A flair for solving problems and be excited at the prospect of working on challenges outside of your usual comfort zone
• Experience in managing Financial Audits, budgets and knowledge of IFRS
• Track record of working individually as well as managing a team
