APAC Social Media and Communications Manager, Taste & Wellbeing

Your future position?

As a APAC Social Media and Communications Manager for Taste & Wellbeing (T&W) in APAC, you will support the APAC Regional Communications Head and the country management team, to engage employees on the regional strategy and priorities and raise Givaudan\'s profile through external communications activities.

Reporting to the APAC Communications Head, you will be responsible for coordinating and implementing a wide variety of internal and external T&W communications activities in the region.

In this exciting role, your main responsibilities will be the following:

  • Social Media and External Communications: managing the day-to-day execution of the digital and external PR communications plan. This includes developing the content strategy for social media platforms across APAC, developing robust lead generation activities via these platforms, crafting news releases and other communications, managing external events, coordinating media and social media monitoring, drafting communications plans for regional initiatives and working with external agencies.
  • Event Management (online and offline): Lead the coordination and execution for events including organizing meetings, and participation for other communication activities related to the event. You will also develop social media posts for awareness and lead generation to support the event, and measure the success of these events utilizing the appropriate measurement tools, to generate event reports.
  • Internal and Operations Communications: Coordinating and executing activities such as town halls, breakfast meetings & webinars and supporting internal content development, including presentations, newsletters, video scripts and success stories.
You?

Your professional profile includes:
  • Extensive experience in B2B digital communications, strategy and channels management with strong analytical and insight generation and problem-solving skills - and you\'re a great story-teller, too.
  • 8-10 years working experience in professional communications or marketing, with a speciality in digital content, social media or corporate communications roles
  • At least 5 years\' hands-on experience managing social media platforms across Asia, including WeChat
  • Experience identifying and managing digital marketing agencies
  • Demonstrated excellent and effective professional writing and creative skills, especially with a focus on strategic copywriting for press releases, campaign content, web, blogs and social me-dia platforms
  • Some basic understanding of customer relationship marketing platforms such as Salesforce.com
  • Demonstrable social media analytics tools knowledge
  • Strong Public Relations skills with good media contacts within trade, Tier 1 media
  • Strong social media / digital marketing knowledge with an understanding and passion for emerging digital trends and technologies
  • Excellent project management/tracking skills
  • Excellent in English (written and spoken)
  • Working knowledge of graphic-design programs, including Adobe Photoshop, InDesign and Il-lustrator is beneficial
  • Self-starter with lots of initiative; ability to manage multiple stakeholders & secure buy-in
  • Flexibility and a proven ability to work successfully in cross-functional environments to achieve results
  • Able to work effectively across diverse cultures and across multi-national teams spread across different markets
  • Delivery-focused, and prepared to roll up your sleeves to make things happen
  • Highly self-motivated, and detail-oriented with excellent collaboration skills and a passion for developing industry-leading communications
  • Enjoys working in a highly matrixed, fluid & dynamic environment
  • Demonstrated ability to manage ambiguity, navigate complexity and perform under pressure.
  • Positive attitude in all circumstances and a strong team player
Qualifications
  • Graduate Degree in Communication, Business Marketing or Journalism
  • Experience with Google Ads Platform, LinkedIn, Twitter/Facebook/Instagram/WeChat, content syndication & data enrichment vendors
  • Experience with Salesforce or similar
  • Experience with analytics tools including Google Analytics & Tableau
