Basic Qualification & Required skills

  • 5 to 7 years in recruitment with strong focus on metrics
  • Ability to influence and partner with different levels of the organization to achieve results
  • Ability to hire at an entry level from campuses while keeping the Amazon bar high
  • Strong interpersonal skills which would translate into effective relationship building across campuses
  • Strong inclination towards managing processes and designing new areas of process innovation
  • Have managed multiple stakeholders at a Hiring Manager level
  • Ability to drive various branding and engagement activities across campuses in ASEAN
  • Strong HR acumen, including strong problem solving skills, critical thinking & self-initiative
  • Confident and skilled in using Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills
  • High quality report preparation

This campus recruiter role will be responsible for working closely with various business stakeholders to define the sourcing strategy, generate high caliber talents and close top candidates from top campuses; all within a fast-moving and super dynamic environment. You will have the opportunity to draw on your extensive knowledge of Talent Acquisition and functional areas of the business, and forge dynamic relationships with business leaders, hiring managers and HR business partners.

Core Responsibilities:

Work closely with business to deeply understand organization structure, responsibilities, strengths/weaknesses and key business drivers. Utilize this information to develop most effective recruiting strategies
  • Work with key business stakeholders to source and build a pipeline of campus graduates. Develop strong relationships with top universities in the region to hire the best talent for Amazon.
  • Build and maintain network of potential candidates through proactive market research and on-going relationship management, gauging chemistry of candidates for fit and motivation rather than simply sell a role. Meanwhile, manage to ensure all sourcing channels are sufficiently utilized, including but not limited to employee referrals, career portals, search firms, events, job fairs, etc.
  • Consult on ideas and strategies related to recruitment that will contribute to the long-range growth of the company, implementing any new processes and fine tuning standard processes for recruiting that fits within Amazon's mission to deliver the highest quality results to the customer. Also, articulated in writing recruiting plans with deliverables, timelines and a formal tracking process
  • Actively participate in the full cycle recruiting efforts, including emphasizing on the capability of assessment skills to help evaluating candidates and ensuring the highest bar. Lead final assessment and selection process
  • Manage well on all the data associated with the recruitment process. Possess data-driven thinking and systematic approaches in achieving the operation excellence
  • Emphasis on continuous improvement, as such it is expected that you will spend time to ensure ongoing education of hiring managers and interviews on recruitment “best practice” and interview skills training
  • Implement the recruitment tools/systems in region through active collaboration with global contacts.


  • Implement University Relation plans & solutions for campuses across ASEAN and deliver results
  • Implement large scale plans to achieve desired hiring numbers and branding objectives
  • Be the relationship owner of assigned campuses and build Amazon brand to improve hiring quality and numbers
  • Design and implement projects within team to improve candidate experience on and off campus
  • Manage a group of 2-3 businesses and relevant senior stakeholders by becoming sole point of contact for their campus related activities
  • Build up the talent pool not only with fresh graduates, but also candidates with maximum two years experience
