The position of KCP AP Supply Chain Director reports to the Global KCP Vice President Product Supply. This role is a senior leadership position within the KCP Global Supply Chain Leadership team and is also a senior member of the KCP AP Regional Leadership Team, led by the KCP AP Vice President.

:

  • Lead the Supply Chain function for the K-C Professional (KCP) Asia Pacific (AP) region in support of achieving long-term growth and profit objectives as outlined in the sector's Global Business Plan & Change Agenda
  • Provide functional leadership across the end-to-end AP Supply Chain including Procurement, Manufacturing and Logistics sub-functions in delivery of both near term business results, and long-term growth and profit improvement in accordance with KCP Global and AP Regional business objectives
  • Optimize the supply chain capability and effectiveness - ensuring the achievement of safety, quality / regulatory, customer service, total delivered cost, and working capital objectives
  • Participate as a senior member of both the KCP Global Supply Chain Leadership team, and the KCP AP Regional Leadership Team, in a broad leadership capacity which transcends solely functional representation
Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct leadership to Supply Chain function for the development, implementation, and modification of strategic plans, consistent with the K-C Professional goals and objectives
  • Ensure effective interaction and influence with the manufacturing facilities and/or suppliers which support the AP region ensuring supply in conformance with customer specifications and requirements on a timely basis and at the lowest delivered cost. Coordinate with peers in the Consumer sectors to deliver KCP products and value from shared facilities.
  • Lead and role model the deployment of continuous improvement best practices to ensure disciplined operating systems are utilized throughout the organization in order to deliver critical business goals and strategies
  • Manage regional capital budgeting to upgrade manufacturing equipment, maintain assets, and support business unit needs
  • Actively support Customer Go-to-Market programs that are responsive and add value to K-C Professional customers' businesses and transcend to a preferred supplier status
  • Coordinate with Sales, Marketing, R&D, and manufacturing units to implement product improvements and new product developments successfully on a commercial basis
  • Collaborate with the Consumer organization to optimize distribution and S&OP functions to ensure KCP strategies are effectively executed. Managing production planning, inventory control, deployment and transport planning processes to consistently meet customer service requirements whilst keeping working capital to a minimum and optimizing total delivered cost.
  • Support the development and management of Supply Chain information systems that improve decision making, communication and control
  • Sourcing and managing External Contract Manufacturing (ECM) vendors based in Asia Pacific (non-PPE categories)
  • Develop Supply Chain and capacity foot-print strategies, with cross-Sector and Global collaboration, to ensure optimum enterprise decision-making, in support of the Global Business Plan
  • Provide leadership to the organization, ensuring that we attract / retain the best people and foster an environment which fully engages their capabilities in achieving desired business results.
Qualifications/Education/Experience Required:
  • Bachelor's degree education in Business or Engineering, with 15+ years of Supply Chain and / or Business management experience
  • Manufacturing and / or Logistics management experience combined with strong communication skills including the ability to lead and motivate people
  • Ability to organize and plan, delegate responsibility and authority and maintain control
  • Ability to provide vision and leadership to the manufacturing, logistics and engineering unit team leaders, as well as the business unit team leaders
  • Ability to travel on average 50% of time
