Due to business expansion, we are currently partnering them to look for a Supply Chain Manager APAC. The successful candidate is responsible for defining, setting up and leading the Supply Chain strategy across APAC. Responsibilities As Supply Chain Manager you are a key driver to ensuring availability of product. You will have the primary responsibility for establishing alignment between our sales and operations strategies to drive network optimization across our industrial operations networks. Assessment & design of the new APAC Supply Chain model Define and Implement S&OP processes: demand planning, network optimization, and capacity planning while supporting various projects including: monthly demand plans, consumption models, integration of new businesses, and new product launches. Develop and lead the Global logistics strategy, including Warehouse operations, Transportation, Customs and trade compliance: warehousing & transportation scenarios, SWOT, recommendations, business cases analysis to determine the optimum Supply Chain model for the region. Therefore the SCM will be accountable for: S&OP activity Oversee all strategic S&OP and Demand Planning activities across APAC. Aid in the design, development, and implementation Dynamics as an end to end business solution. Establish and document operational standards for S&OP to cover the business needs. Facilitate monthly demand forecast aggregation, including consensus between functions and stakeholders. Establish trust and alignment with operations partners to the optimal production strategies across our coating, distribution, and finishing network. Create and drive continuous improvement of world-class demand planning and S&OP processes. Monitor the demand plan throughout the month to provide detailed input to Sales for use in demand review and S&OP meetings. Measure, control, and improve S&OP plan accuracy through clearly defined metrics. Lead Network Optimization Process to mitigate cost and maximize service Develop Capacity simulation process to run sensitivity analysis for growth Provide leadership for the demand planning/forecasting process. Map the supply model based on business rules, forecast demand and historical sales performance. Develop metrics for forecast accuracy, planning data integrity and accuracy, S&OP performance, service and inventory metrics. Customs Develop and execute strategy for Customs activities Drive strategically import & export initiatives (planning, automation, optimization), working cross-functionally to identify key areas of opportunity Serve as subject matter expert and advocate for compliance across all customs activity, working collaboratively with technology, product management, legal and other key stakeholder groups. Create metrics to measure performance and identify defects and trends, working cross-functionally to deliver best-in-class quality, performance, productivity and cost. Drive standardization of operational procedures partnering with operations and technology partners to build repeatable and predictable structures in areas of ambiguity to increase consistency and reliability of operational performance. Transportation Develops and executes a solid and sustainable transportation plan which includes operations goals, sales support, transportation solutions to meet customer needs and having proactive communication Actively participate in negotiating rates, and managing contracts with Purchasing Dept Develop optimization strategies to reduce costs and safely provide competitive advantage to the business Builds peer support and strong internal-company relationships with other key stakeholders. Accountable for transportation performance to meet the needs of the business Proactively educate and communicate issues and market conditions to key stakeholders, identifying gaps and implementing solutions to resolve and support operations savings and efficiencies Establishes solid relationships with international key carriers. Assess and ensure transportation KPIs are maintained to facilitate continuous improvement in the areas of transportation including routing, scheduling, on time metrics, freight cost and carbon footprint management Requirements 7+ years of experience in Supply chain, Global Planning or equivalent. Experience in consulting firm is a plus. Experience in Project Management Solid end-to-end supply chain and S&OP operations expertise Strong leadership and communication skills Proficient in English & Mandarin as you are expected to liaise with Chinese counterparts Technical skills: proficient in excel, BI report and ideally good knowledge of Microsoft DYN365 Applicant must be Singapore citizen or permanent resident, and have working experience in Singapore 25% Travel required For more information about this role, please contact Eric at .
