Job Description
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide scientific technical expertise in new product development from concept to launch, and to work closely with cross-functional team members to ensure design viability in terms of cost, reliability and manufacturability
- Design, optimize and validate qPCR and digital PCR assays for research and diagnostic purposes
- Ensure proper documentation according to ISO13485 requirements
- Provide customer support on technical aspects such as product workflow demonstration, assay design and troubleshooting
- Increase product usage and support sales efforts through technical presentations and demonstrations
- Attend local or overseas tradeshows and conferences
- Perform any other related duties as required due to business needs
- MSc or PhD in Life Sciences, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology or related field.
- Preferably 1-2 years of related working experience.
- Strong background in molecular biology techniques in particular quantitative PCR. Prior experience with digital PCR would be advantageous.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Good interpersonal, analytical, problem-solving and presentation skills.
- Independent and proactive team player who thrives in a fast-paced working environment.
- Able to travel to attend tradeshows, conferences and/or customer visits
- Monday to Friday
- Master's (Preferred)
