Responsibilities - Leads in presentation of project proposals to discuss their objectives, requirements and specifications to start the project as assigned. - Prepares and manages activity plan for the department in line with the project schedule and budgets. - Supports and coaches locally or overseas based designers, engineers and drafters. - Directs and manages engineering interface with production, operations and quality assurance. - Monitors the Design & Engineering (D&E) Department performance and KPIs. Client - Engages Client to obtain approval on proposed drawings. - Prepares engineering progress reports for Clients. - Reviews designs and ensures that engineering considerations, such as vessel regulations, specifications and design standards are met. Internal - Establishes D&E procedures and standards. - Reviews and manages the engineering deliverables submission status. - Writes performance reviews, and solve internal issues. - Reviews drawings master list and manages status progress. Requirements
- Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree in Interior Design, Architecture or related field with Furniture back ground
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience (Site construction, Architectural & Interior Design, etc.)
- Strong knowledge of AutoCAD, Sketchup, and Photoshop
- Creative individual with strong aesthetic sensibilities
- Good understanding of architectural & interior spatial planning, developing design through various stages, executing the intended design with any assigned builders
- Meticulous with design details with an in-depth understanding of material properties and construction sequence
- Local Polytechnic Diploma (Preferred)
- 5 yrs: 4 years (Preferred)
