Opportunity
We are seeking a Finance Business Partner based in Singapore. The Finance Business Partner (FBP) will support the Contract Logistics (Warehouse and Distribution; Cold Chain and Depot) Product & Execution teams to manage existing and new business and support profitable volume growth. The position will co-own the P&L together with the head of product, drive and lead the investment analysis, forecasting process as well providing transparency and analysis of historical financial performance versus commitments. The FBP will own building the financial models and analysis related to CAPEX/Lease/M&A and to be included in the Investment Proposal (IP).

Key responsibilities
Finance Business Partner


  • Financial results reported periodically reflect a true and fair representation of underlying business whereby exposures are visible and where required included in the financial results.

  • Ensure visibility and timely reporting of periodical P/L data (GP/PDP/EBITDA/EBIT) to form part of the MOS cycle.

  • Ensure that proper accruals are reviewed as part of monthly pre closing.

  • Ensure all strategic initiatives are included in ROFO.

  • Ensure any future CAPEX/Lease is included in P/L and CAPEX Budget o Build P/L bridge (GP & EBIT).

  • Lead the 3-months/rolling 12 months P/L outlook (Revenue, GP, PDP, EBITDA & EBIT) per facility/activity.

  • Develop detailed financial model(s) for every Investment Proposal

  • Ensure all stakeholders and aware of deliveries and timeline no Financial model to include details on Full P/L o Incl./Excl. IFRS16 adjustment; Details on CAPEX; Volume; Financial KPI’s (NPV, IRR, payback, EBITDA %)

  • Support development and review of strategic initiatives

  • Review Investment pipeline opportunities

  • Review and approve monthly accruals for closing

  • Own the profitability analysis, review profitability at a site and customer level; identify and drive resolution of revenue/costs leakages

  • Provide forward looking and independently initiate analysis on margins, trends and areas of opportunities

  • Contribute and form business decisions and enable follow-up on such decisions including margin improvements

  • Lead any M&A integration activities related to Contract Logistics

We are looking for

  • Financial and business acumen. Must understand business/process impact on financial results.

  • Financial/controller background and/or working experience.

  • Commercially astute

  • Highly articulate and impactful individual

  • Able to build strong business relationships and effectively communicate across functions.

  • Strong communication and presentation skills.

  • Advanced technical skills in Excel, PowerBI & Power Point (pivot tables, financial & statistical functions, presentations, charts).

  • Result-driven, strong logical & analytical capacity. Patience with large data sets.

  • Well organized with high attention to detail.

  • Experience working in a challenging, fast paced and changing environment dealing with a lot of different tasks at the same time.

  • Team player, can act with teams regionally, locally as well as the Global Shared Services

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting

  • Ideally CPA or equivalent

  • 7-10 years’ experience in the business to be able to drive performance and value
