Reporting to the Founders of The Kind Grower, the The Kind Grower Manager is both a strategic and operational role. Iterating rapidly in response to insights regarding customer needs and distribution preferences & opportunities, we believe in purposeful adaptability in today\xe2\x80\x99s fast and exciting marketplaces for #nutrientdensepesticidefree #safegoodfood.

We are seeking passionate and dynamic individuals with high integrity and drive for co-creating and growing new marketplaces for premium #nutrientdense #pesticideree #safegoodfood, with fellow colleagues as well as expanding the network of possibilities in the marketplace ecosystems of growers, fulfillment partners, chefs, grocers and end consumers.

SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT: INCLUSIVE SUSTAINABILITY APPRENTICESHIP

The Kind Grower Managers shall be onboarded as part of The Kind Grower Inclusive Sustainability Apprenticeship Sustainable Development Programme, with an everyday researcher mindset applied to innovating community and marketplaces of character for Sustainable Development.

We are growing a team of The Kind Grower Managers in the Retail Career Tracks, as guided by SkillsFuture Singapore\xe2\x80\x99s Skills Framework for Retail: Retail Operations Brand Management Marketing Merchandising E-Commerce

Together, we shall, as sustainability stewards, strive to realise SDG2030 Goals at an integrative level, through creating anew, transitioning or evolving glocal (local, regional, global) food systems with the purpose of delivering #foodsustainabilityintheAnthropocene.

AREA MANAGER - CRITICAL WORK FUNCTIONS & KEY TASKS : Critical Work Functions / Key Tasks

1. Develop business opportunities

  • Analyse new market trends, business opportunities and market
segments in global and local landscape
  • Drive sales performance within area/district
  • Research and analyse business opportunities
  • Facilitate implementation of organisation strategies

2. Drive innovation and productivity aspirations
  • Develop an action plan to implement productivity and innovation
initiatives
  • Lead and motivate team to contribute to productivity improvement
and innovation
  • Evaluate potential ideas that may contribute to productivity
improvement and innovation
  • Develop new products and/or services

3. Deliver operations excellence
  • Allocate and monitor budget expenditure within area/district
  • Manage crisis situations
  • Review historical sales and market trends to forecast sales
  • Integrate business continuity management into retail operations
  • Develop or modify systems to ensure compliance with corporate
governance and social responsibilities
  • Lead setup of new stores

4. Manage teams
  • Provide direction and guidance to team leaders
  • Develop team leaders\' capabilities
  • Influence team\'s decision making
  • Promote workforce diversity

5. Manage customer order fulfilment
  • Define and revise order fulfilment policies and procedures
  • Review customer satisfaction
  • Manage order processing, fulfilment and returns of customer orders

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: The Kind Grower Manager shall co-lead and co-innovate the following strategic threads of The Kind Grower:

Omnichannel Commerce Together with the Founders, The Kind Grower Manager shall co-develop, co-build & co-creatively adapt the omnichannel architecture, end-to-end tech stack infrastructure, contemporaneous content and B2B and B2C customer relationships, customer service and customer transaction strategies, experiences and operations, including e-commerce.

The Kind Grower Manager shall be responsible for keeping track of the evolution of our Omnichannel development and adaptive implementations, and reporting exceptions on a timely basis. New, effective, exciting, profitable marketplaces are the outcomes we seek to build & grow here. The end-to-end business process integrations is paramount for a seamless omnichannel functionality, whole ecosystem workflow and unparalleled customer experiences throughout.

Events Management & Business Development We co-create Green Champion Dialogues to appreciate the mystery of juxtapositions, and weave the intricate intimacy of #nutrientdense #pesticidefree #safegoodfood in catalysing global sustainable collaborations businesses, partnerships friendships and vibrant living.

The Kind Grower Manager shall be responsible for organising Green Champion Dialogues, build & maintain business & customer relationships, articulating insights, publish the contents from Green Champion Dialogues through our omnichannel infrastructure, and follow through of leads and creation of new products, spotting fresh ideas and opportunities when they present themselves during Green Champion Dialogues. Food Sustainability Innovations are the outcomes we hope to accelerate from the insights gleaned from our guests and co-hosts of Green Champion Dialogues.

Knowledge, Content & Education Through our Green Champion Dialogues and exploration of our philosophy of #GrowingGreenGivingLife, we deep-dive into sustainability earth systems scientific knowledge, cultural values & cuisines, agroecology, agritechnology, crops diversity, and consumer preferences relating to #nutrientdense #pesticidefree #safegoodfood. We shall publish our fresh produce selections every season. Educational opportunities shall also be created to share our knowledge regarding #foodsustainabilityintheAnthropocene, how to identify quality #nutrientdense #pescticidefree #safegoodfood, and also why our premium #safegoodfood is so unique and unlike any other.

The Kind Grower Manager shall be responsible for the editorial operations, coordinating media production and co-hosting educative endeavours of Green Champion Dialogues: a global marketplace trade journal that is also a lifestyle magazine. A successful following of our publications and educational outreach is the outcome from Green Champion Dialogues.

KEY REQUIREMENTS: o 3-5 years of business development & operations experience, preferably in omnichannel. o Food industry experience preferred. Experience with pesticide free fresh produce a plus. o A strong track record of successful new business development. o Outstanding interpersonal and influencing skills. o Customer focused, responsive, timely and accurate in follow-through. o Excellent in project management. Team player, inspiring leadership. o Analytical, fast learning with excellent judgment. o Knowledge of social media platforms in the context of omnichannel commerce. o Well organised, flexible, hands-on and results-oriented. o Knowledgeable of the sustainable food movement. o High integrity.
