:An exciting Area Sales Manager covering SEA, Taiwan and ANZ region for a valve manufacturer has just become available at one of the most respected and reputable international companies. Reporting directly to the Regional Director (APAC), this is a role for someone who has strong equipment and project sales experience in the valve industry.About the Area Sales Manager role:In this business-critical role, you will be responsible for executing sales strategies and tactics to bolster the equipment sales through direct sales and channel partners in the region.Key Responsibilities:

• Develop the sales channels and partnerships with direct customers and local distributors.
• Develop market entry and expansion strategies and lead initiatives across SEA, Taiwan and ANZ region.
• To develop key markets strategically and systematically
• To increase market share, identify and capture growth opportunities by providing solutions for the market and channel
• Initiate and develop business plans for expansion initiatives, define and drive implementation.
• To drive the project sales of the valve business unit

To succeed in the Area Sales Manager role, you will need experience in equipment and project sales background with valve product knowledge.Key Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience in the Oil & Gas, Petrochemical or Power industry
• Bachelor\'s degree in Engineering or related discipline
• Prior experience in direct sales or channel partners management on static equipment e.g. Valve will be preferred.
• Commercially focused with a problem-solving mindset
• Ability to work with multiple internal and external stakeholders at different professional level
• Entrepreneurial, independent, and self-driven
• Strong analytical capabilities and strong interpersonal skills
