AREA STORE HEAD The Area Store Head (ASH) is responsible for overseeing and leading the team under his/ her area scope and supporting the company in managing and securing the store's resources (PERSONNEL, INVENTORY and EQUIPMENT) using company systems and procedures with the end goal of taking charge of the store's immediate concern, achieving daily sales targets and satisfying the customers' needs while maintaining a profitable operation covering the following areas:

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESSALES MANAGEMENT
  • Ensures sales targets are achieved at all times.
  • Submits monthly sales performance and analysis reports.
  • Develops and implements action plans for the achievement of targets.
  • Conducts environmental market and competition studies and surveys.
  • Assigns individual sales targets for each staff on a monthly basis and monitors individual achievements.
INVENTORY MANAGEMENT
  • Ensures that the store's inventory value is intact and reconciles variances immediately.
  • Coordinates with the Merchandising Department on concerns regarding the merchandise.
OPERATIONS
  • Ensures that the store maintains and implements all operational standards and procedures at all times.
  • Ensures store preparedness for sale events and other mall activities that the brand is enjoined.
  • Ensures that all concerns are addressed prior to store opening, renovation and closure. Coordinates with concerned departments for various general and specific store concerns. Ensures that all required records, logbooks and other store documents are maintained and updated.
  • Discusses operational concerns with mall operators and department store managers.
PERSONNEL MANAGEMENT
  • Conducts weekly staff meetings and cascades recent memos to align including store and individual sales performance.
  • Prepare staff schedules to ensure sufficient manpower at all times.
  • Coordinates with HRD regarding manpower requirements to ensure immediate filling-up of vacancies.
  • Conducts interviews for staff applications.
  • Investigates incidents of theft and other highly sensitive violations against company standards and code of conduct.
  • Counsels staff on work performance.
  • Issues IR and follow up disciplinary actions on erring staff in coordination with HR and coop.
  • Accomplishes staff performance appraisals
  • Recommends termination of probationary associates through proper evaluation and documentation.
  • Approves applications for leaves of absences and under times of subordinates.
  • Implements overtime of staff when necessary.
  • People development through training and coaching.
  • Recommends staff promotions and pay rise.
CASH MANAGEMENT
  • Ensures that operating expenses are minimized.
  • Checks all manual sales invoice booklets.
  • Checks updates on daily sales journal (BIR).
  • Checks daily cash count are being in place and implemented.
DEPARTMENT STORE
  • Conduct store visits on department store outlets handled.
  • Manage inventory, sales and customer service for these outlets.
  • Ensure that expenses of these outlets are minimized.
  • Conduct on the spot inspections of the selling area, stockroom (if available) and day-to-day operations.
  • Manage sales associates assigned in the department store.
  • Invite sales demo during store meetings on the nearest area where assembly will be conducted.

Experience:
  • Overseeing Store Operations: 3 years (Preferred)

  • Fashion Retail: 3 years (Preferred)
