Established in 2008, Y2ARTS is a Singapore based contemporary fine art gallery dedicated to the promotion of national and international artists. It also has the mission to provide the much-needed opportunity to aspiring artists to develop their artistic potential. Each of the artists Y2ARTS present has a unique story and an original artistic path to follow.

Contemporary Art Coaching

Contemporary Art Coaching is a leading art club/gallery/studio located in Singapore, dedicated to sharing knowledge and enthusiasm for contemporary and fine art practices.

Our art studio is located in Singapore leading contemporary art gallery only a few minutes walk from Bukit Merah Central and Bus Interchange. With 7m ceiling height of exhibition and studio space, as well as large display windows, we are simultaneously a contemporary art gallery and a studio for learning fine art techniques.

Our cutting-edge art courses and workshops are suitable for students of all ages and skill levels. Our aim is to bring the beauty of art to life through an extensive and customised educational programme which is constantly developing in order to provide the best knowledge available at present.



We are seeking for passionate and dedicated individuals to join our expanding team. The internship will offer exposure to both arms of the company; art gallery and education. Possibility of full-time employment will be offered depending on individual performance.

Personality

• Enjoy working with children, teens and adults
• Passionate about sharing and teaching visual arts
• Good command in English
• Confident and enjoy talking to people

Job Scope

• Teaching: Communication of concepts; Demonstrations; Sharing knowledge of contemporary art practices; Creative Lesson planning
• Gallery: Includes research, conceptualisation, write-ups, installation planning, design, social media and website content creation
• Basic housekeeping to make sure the space is neat and presentable
• Ensure proper upkeep of materials
• Installation of works

Requirements:

• Will require at least a 3-6 months commitment period
• Must be able to work on both Weekends
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent technical and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge and skills pertaining to art practices
• Knowledge and skills pertaining to online maintenance and management

Working days: 5 days week, including Saturday and Sunday

Working hours:

• Wednesday: 10.30am \xe2\x80\x93 6.30pm
• Thursday: 10.30am \xe2\x80\x93 6.30pm
• Friday: 10.30am \xe2\x80\x93 6.30pm
• Saturday: 10.30am \xe2\x80\x93 6.30pm
• Sunday: 10.30am \xe2\x80\x93 6.30pm
