Ascott Host

You will provide a high level of personalised service to exceed the expectations of residents. You will also create a pleasant and lasting atmosphere that enables residents\xe2\x80\x99 satisfaction and provide a sense of home away from home. You will work with the Housekeeping, Engineering and Security Departments and report directly to the Manager or Assistant Manager, Guest Service.

Responsibilities

You will:

  • Ensure residents are well taken care of from the point of their arrival to departure
  • Provide in-room check-in service for all VIP residents
  • Attend to and anticipate all residents\' queries and needs
  • Provide recommendations on nearby amenities, places of interest and assist residents in making travel, tours and restaurant reservation arrangements
  • Maintain residents\xe2\x80\x99 accounts, information and preference profiles
  • Handle and record resident feedback and complaints, performing the appropriate service recovery and refer them to supervisors and managers
  • Receive and convey messages to residents promptly
  • Put together memorable affairs and events for residents
  • Build relationships with local businesses to create partnerships for our residents
  • Create an atmosphere that makes a \xe2\x80\x98wow\xe2\x80\x99 impression on the residents
  • Have close collaborations with your colleagues from the different departments to provide a personalised and seamless stay for all our residents
  • Perform related tasks as assigned
Job Requirements

You have:
  • At least 3 years of relevant work experience preferably in the hospitality industry
  • Attained at least a Degree or Diploma in Hospitality, Hotel Management, or an equivalent qualification
  • Service-oriented, attentive to details and observant
  • Fluent in verbal and written English
  • Passion in learning a variety of tasks, having meaningful conversations with others and creating memorable events.
  • Willingness to perform shifts
