PURPOSE OF ROLE

  • As the ASIA Digital & IT Business Solutions Manager, you will work with both internal/external team members on the development and subsequent deployment of applications (ERP, SFE, CRM, Supply Chain, Finance & HR) to resolve Santen Asia cluster business problems and provide new capability utilizing the latest technologies.
  • Working closely with the business stakeholders, the role will coordinate delivery activities across all business and IT functions in the company and facilitate effective utilization of the application systems. Given the regional scope, the incumbent will have the opportunity to work on a broad range of application projects of varying scope and complexity.
  • This role will also function as Project Lead and collaborate with the Regional Infrastructure Manager and global DIT team in application design, requirements collection, testing and implementations and also related IT hardware matters for rollout of application systems in areas of cloud (PAAS, SAAS), IOT and security.

  • Lead and facilitate requirement workshops and participate in the fit-gap analysis, business process optimization, documentation, implementation, and maintenance of application solutions like SAP, IQVIA OCE, CRM, business intelligent reporting etc.
  • Work collaboratively with project teams, internal stakeholders, external vendors to ensure best functional/technical solution is designed and implemented
  • Prepare and propose robust solutions to meet the functional needs by studying, advising appropriate recommendation to enhance project requirement or minimize recurring issues
  • Responsible for project roll-out, functional testing, data migration and providing support for other areas such as troubleshooting, training and supporting of users
  • This role needs to function as a change management lead and increase adoption of applications
  • Ensure proper project documentation and identify potential risks with mitigation to ensure smooth delivery of project
  • Support the Head of DIT in other IT-related matters. This will include but are not limited to applications service delivery to ensure service performance meets agreed service levels as well as day-to-day operations of the IT support to ensure smooth, end-to-end delivery of support services to Santen Asia users
Qualifications
  • Degree in IT/Computer Science, Business administration or related discipline with ERP, CRM or PMP Certification preferred
  • 10-15 years\' ERP/CRM experience in cross-functional modules within the pharmaceutical industry
  • Good hands-on experience in the implementation, enhancement and supporting of projects
  • Troubleshooting and debugging technical skills required. Related experience would be desirable in ERP, SAP S4, IQVIA OCE, Salesforce, Microsoft and cloud technologies
  • Practical project management skills, with ability to manage and implement new technologies and acute business sense to ensure successful application development and support
  • Excellent project & technical documentation skills with fundamental knowledge on Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL)
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills, able to work independently
  • Experience working with other stakeholders from diverse cultures and location
  • Good written & verbal communication skills in English and Chinese
  • Flexibility to travel regionally up to 25%
