Aspire is a multi-year strategic investment programme to transform GCFO into a modern, globally consistent organisation with skills, capabilities and jobs that match competitor banks. The core of Aspire requires a modern technology infrastructure and data capability - SAP has been selected for Finance. It will result in a cloud-based single instance general ledger and a detailed, granular data store that is shared with the Risk function. This will enable faster monthly close and daily reporting, centralised regulatory reporting capability, self-service MIS, and automated controls. The role is responsible for the strategic vision of the subledger and driving out the subledger delivery, aligning the multiples teams and stakeholders, spanning Aspire, GCFO, Technology and CCIB and CPBB business, to an E2E roadmap for this complex, multi-year delivery. In addition the role will be responsible for establishing a CoE aligned to our Target Operating model in India to support the subledger in the medium and long term and for the end-to-end delivery management for Subledger Releases and Data Factory. Key Responsibilities Define, agree and maintain release roadmap and plan on a page for subledger releasesWork with the Product Owners and Change and Tech leads for prioritisation discussions for the end-to-end road map Partner with T&I and Change and finance teams to plan future releases including scope, test, data and environment requirements RAID management for releasesFacilitate surfacing of Risks Issues and Dependencies and drive collaboration in mitigating the same Ensure adherence to RAID management guidelines across the delivery Driver delivery of the Data Factory. Ensure adherence to release governance. Run governance and delivery forums for releases. Support management reporting across the programme. Drive the delivery optimisation agenda and ensure Agile adoption is embedded across the programme. Establish strong relationships between the Finance and T&I Functions to encourage collaborative and transparent working. Our Ideal Candidate Proven experience of global / regional programme and project delivery in a banking environment. Over 10 years in Programme delivery and leadership in an a multi-regional Investment Banking environment on large scale change programs. Thorough understanding of Project delivery methodologies - Agile, SDLC and managing Jira at scale. Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills covering both senior and operational levels.
