COMPANY DESCRIPTION National Gallery Singapore is a leading visual arts institution which oversees the world\xe2\x80\x99s largest public collection of Singapore and Southeast Asian modern art. Situated at the birthplace of modern Singapore, in the heart of the Civic District, the Gallery is housed in two national monuments - City Hall and former Supreme Court - that have been beautifully restored and transformed into this exciting 64,000 square metre venue. RESPONSIBILITIES This candidate will be responsible for leading, co-creating and implementing cutting edge programmes and festivals to engage a broad-based audience with visual art through, participatory and collaborative approaches. This role has a strong public programming, collaboration and programme delivery focus, which involves working with internal and external stakeholders to design and present cutting edge and impactful art experiences and encounters for new-to-art audiences for the Gallery. The candidate will be part of the dynamic Audience Engagement division, to develop strategies in programming to help increase public familiarity with the Gallery\xe2\x80\x99s identity, mission, and services, with the goal of bringing the non-traditional museum going audiences into the Gallery.
