What the role is:You will be working closely with internal and external stakeholders to develop and drive capability development and governance initiatives to enhance and support MOH\'s resiliency across healthcare crises and emergency preparedness. You will be working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment that would require the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders at the same time.What you will be working on:You will : a) Lead the team to plan and drive capability development initiatives that enhance and support MOH\'s resiliency across healthcare crises and emergency preparedness, including stakeholder engagements; b) Work with stakeholders to formulate Memorandum of Understandings and agreements with government agencies, ancillary healthcare vendors and private sector entities to cement linkages and partnerships that can be activated in times of crisis; c) Work with stakeholders to engage medical supplies and pharmaceutical companies on policy and strategic plans for novel therapeutics, vaccine and essential drugs manufacturing capabilities; d) Establish channels for collaborations and mutual sharing with overseas counterparts and private sector entities on best practices in the areas of emergency preparedness and crisis operations planning; e) Lead the team to drive and coordinate governance work across CSOG Divisions; f) Serve as the secretariat to key forums and internal/external meetings.What we are looking for:

  • Tertiary education, preferably in policy or healthcare related fields. \xe2\x80\xa2 At least 5 years of working experience in the public sector, or relevant private sector related to healthcare. \xe2\x80\xa2 Prior experience in policy development and/or implementation will be helpful but not a requirement. \xe2\x80\xa2 Possess strong analytical, communication and writing skills. \xe2\x80\xa2 Driven, goal-oriented individual who can operate under highly stressful environments. \xe2\x80\xa2 Self-starter who is resourceful and able to work independently and also collaboratively in a team. \xe2\x80\xa2 Experienced in leading a small team of staff. \xe2\x80\xa2 As part of the shortlisting process for this role, candidates may be required to complete a medical declaration and/or undergo further assessments.
