Job Description


What the role is:

Assist Deputy Director (Planning and Programmes), Integrated Community Hub Division, to engage Inter-Agency Planning and Operations Groups (IPOGs) to drive Whole-of-Government and PA-wide initiatives to enhance synergy and optimise the use of facilities across the IPOGs.

Assist to strategise communication planning and analysing effectiveness of IPOG Comms strategies and content development for effective digital communication to achieve effective communication, promotion and support for the planning and programmes, ultimately contributing to their success and impact.

What you will be working on:

  • Ensure that the allocation of IPOG resources are aligned to Whole -of-Government and PA- wide initiatives and policy requirements.
  • Deploy facilities resources to widen outreach/deepen engagement with the community.
  • Champion and work with external agencies, ministries and statutory boards on hosting of programmes across IPOGs to strengthen inter-agency collaborations and improve community engagement.
  • Review and roll out innovative programmes from community partners (public sector and commercial brands) across IPOGs to achieve meaningful community outreach and engagement.
  • Strategise and implement strategies to support IPOGs in developing community programmes / events to optimise footfall, increase average dwell time and improve engagement with various target demographics relevant to each respective IPOG.
  • Develop comprehensive communication plans aligned with IPOGs\' goals and initiatives.
  • Conceptualise and implement communication strategies to effectively promote and raise awareness on IPOGs\' programmes and initiatives.
  • Create compelling and informative content to communicate to stakeholders to generate positive publicity for the IPOGs.
  • Work in partnership with PA Divisions, Grassroots organizations, community partners, government agencies and non-government agencies to develop and expand the network of communications channels.
  • Prepare, monitor and present concept papers, reports and publications, curate content for Learning Journeys and organizing tours to promote IPOGs\' programmes and facilities.
  • Work closely with IPOG Operations Programming staff to implement strategies to synchronise IPOG community engagement programmes across IPOGs to achieve greater community engagement island-wide.
What we are looking for:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in management position and programme content development and corporate communication.
  • Strategic thinking and planning skills. Good interpersonal abilities and communication skills. Resourceful in networks and partnerships.
  • Excellent proficiency in the English language, both verbal and written and proficient in a second language (Chinese, Malay or Tamil).
  • Driven, self-motivated individual with a keen eye for details and strong project management skills.
  • Willing to work on weekday evenings and weekends (if the positionrequires)

Successful candidates will be given a 3-year contract.
