This position is for Office of Corporate Communications and Marketing (OCCM).
Content and Social Media Strategy: Develop and execute comprehensive content and social media strategies that align with our brand\'s goals and values. This includes tailored strategies for each social media platform, influencer engagement, and leveraging social networks to drive qualified traffic to our brand sites.
Social Content Creation: Oversee the creation of high-quality, timely content that responds to changing trends in social media. This includes managing the social editorial calendar, curating and creating content, and promoting it through social advertising.
Social Media Intelligence and Measurement: Manage the budget for tools and platforms essential for effective social media marketing. Provide in-depth analysis and insights into the impact of social media channels on our overall marketing efforts, keeping the corporate marketing team updated on industry trends and best practices.
Social Media Crisis Management: Monitor online brand mentions and potential crisis situations. Collaborate closely with the corporate communications team to address issues promptly. Manage customer communication through private messaging channels.
Social Media Governance and Leadership: Develop and maintain a robust social media governance process. Educate internal stakeholders on best practices, content strategies, and brand application guidelines. Supervise and mentor content and social team members and student contributors.
Stakeholder Engagement: Foster collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment and consistency in messaging and branding.
External Agency Management: Lead and motivate external agencies in developing innovative social media touchpoints that convey our key messages effectively. Ensure the quality of service and value for money.
Qualifications:
Degree in Journalism, Mass Communications, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in social media planning and community engagement, preferably in both agency and client environments.
Strong understanding of digital and social media landscapes, including regional channel management, community engagement, governance, crisis communications, performance marketing, and measurement.
Proficiency in digital and social media tools such as Drupal, WordPress, Google Analytics, Social Media Management Platforms, Social Listening Platforms, and Project Management Platforms.
Exceptional copywriting skills; proficiency in design, photography, and videography is a plus.
SEO expertise, including the ability to generate inbound links.
Experience in influencer management and regional platforms such as WeChat, LINE, Tik Tok is a plus.
Proactive, collaborative team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Adaptable, detail-oriented, organised, and able to meet tight deadlines.
