Join us in shaping the future of Singapore\'s digital landscape and making a positive impact on society.Position Overview: IMDA is seeking a dynamic and experienced Assistant Director to lead our Digital and Social Media team. The Digital and Social Team is one of five teams within the Communications and Marketing department. In this role, you will oversee two critical pillars of excellence: Digital and Social Media Strategy and Digital and Social Media Management. Your strategic vision and data-driven approach will shape and drive IMDA\'s digital and social media strategy. Additionally, you will enhance awareness of IMDA\'s brand and position the organisation as a leader in Singapore\'s digital ecosystem.Responsibilities:Digital and Social Media Strategy

  • Develop and implement mid to long-term digital marketing strategies covering content and media, aligned with overall marketing objectives and organisational initiatives
  • Drive continuous performance optimization across the digital and social ecosystem, from awareness to conversion
  • Oversee the Digital and Social team\'s workplan, budget, and resource needs
  • Conduct process and technology reviews, developing frameworks and strategies for improved efficiency and effectiveness
  • Plan and manage the rollout of new technology and maintain existing marketing technology
  • Serve as the data warehouse for digital and social data, working with the management team to generate insights and manage reporting
  • Identify new digital and social trends and innovations to optimise marketing efforts
  • Be the subject matter expert for digital and social, upskilling the broader marketing and communications team
Digital and Social Media Management
  • Plan and manage IMDA\'s social media channels, proposing plans to add new channels and sunset non-performing ones
  • Develop engaging and informative content for social media and websites to support business needs, address brand-related gaps, and increase reach and engagement
  • Lead content creation that is relevant and insightful for various target audience groups
  • Develop strategies and media buying plans for social media channels to increase visibility and reach
  • Manage external media agencies in developing and tracking digital/social marketing campaigns, ensuring optimised performance and budget adherence
  • Review, update, and optimise IMDA\'s corporate website performance, ensuring content is current and user experience is positive
  • Conduct UX and SEO audits, and implement SEO and SEM strategies to improve audience experience and increase traffic
  • Plan and manage CODI, IMDA\'s mascot, to increase understanding of digital economy needs, IMDA\'s role, and educate people on digital protection and cyber wellness
  • Manage and develop skillsets of the digital and social marketing team, building strategic partnerships and providing value-added counsel to stakeholders
  • Propose innovative and creative ideas to reach potential target audiences, continually improving overall strategy and tactics to enhance performance
Requirements
  • Minimum 12 years of relevant experience in Digital Marketing and Marketing Technology
  • Minimum 5 years of team management experience, having led a team of 5 or more direct reports
  • Experience in market research and developing strategies and roadmaps for Marketing Technology and Digital Marketing to build a strong brand
  • Proven track record in building capacity and capability in Marketing Technology and Digital Marketing strategy and execution
  • Strong understanding of Business-Tech integration and experience managing technology projects
  • Hands-on knowledge of analytics tools such as Power BI and Tableau will be preferred.
  • Excellent creative writing and presentation skills; adept at managing senior stakeholders for public engagements
  • Highly strategic, driven, and energetic, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Self-starter with outstanding project management skills and creative thinking abilities
  • Experience in managing third-party agencies, vendors, and suppliers
  • Strong team player with the ability to work well independently
