What the role is
Officer is responsible to oversee and guide a team of officers to implement foreign manpower policies, assess Work Pass applications/appeals, review operational processes, implement system changes, and handle complex public enquiries so as to meet the industry’s foreign manpower needs through a flexible, responsive and dynamic Work Pass Framework.
What you will be working on
• To oversee and guide a team of officers to evaluate Work Pass applications/appeals and handle escalated enquiries within the service standards, particularly for complex cases that fall outside established guidelines • To take lead to develop SOPs and system changes to operationalize Work Pass policy changes, providing a nexus between policy, ops and IT and drive overall project implementation • To lead reviews and process re-design to continually enhance operational processes to ensure that they remain relevant, effective and efficient. This includes tracking and analysing outcomes, and working closely with various teams in Ministry of Manpower.

• Possess good leadership qualities. To be able to lead a team of officers to implement new policies, make systems changes, assess work pass applications/appeals and handle escalated enquiries. • Possess good analytical, thinking, problem-solving and communications skills • Able to work both independently and as a team, and adapt to a fast-paced environment
