What the role is
Working in the Finance Services Department, you will be responsible for the following: • Supervise staff on the performance of finance and accounting functions, including but not restricted to accounting for daily revenue collection, accounts payable, month-end closing, fixed assets, fees and charges costing, bank reconciliations and prepare management reports • Oversee the system administration of the Financial System, review of work processes for system enhancement and internal controls • Functional lead for Fixed Assets and Land and Building related matters • Review of returns and submissions • Review of audit schedules for statutory and other audits • Provide advice and support on financial matters • Attend to requests or enquiries from external and internal customers

What we are looking for
The job might be for you if you possess the following qualities: • A Degree in Accountancy or related discipline with a minimum of 8 to 10 years of relevant experience • Independent, hardworking, positive and highly motivated, flexible and resourceful • Meticulous and able to exercise sound judgement and work independently with minimal supervision • Excellent Interpersonal and communication skills • A good team player, able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines • Proficient in MS Office applications • You will be working in a fast-paced and highly volatile environment that would require the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders at the same time.
